HOTFIX: ThinkTwit 1.3.9 to fix italic issue

So you may or may not have noticed ThinkTwit turning everything italic – either way you’ll be wanting to download this update. The long and short of it is that Twitter have changed their API and this version is 100% required if you want to keep using ThinkTwit – and no doubt every other Twitter plugin will need to be updated as well.

For some reason Twitter was responding with <em> tags everywhere thus turning our lovely pages italic; this is something to do with them dropping support for ATOM (XML) and so I have made a fix which instead uses JSON. Currently ThinkTwit is still using version 1.0 of the Twitter Search API as Twitter have not yet released their Application only Authentication using OAuth, once this has been released I will release another update bringing us on to version 1.1 which will hopefully allow for more features in the future.

As usual if you have any questions please ask, in the meantime I apologise for any issues caused but this was  completely down to Twitter.
